About Smart Carts of LA, LLC
Louisiana’s Premier Golf Cart Company
Founded in 2012 by Matthew and Jandy Tyl, Smart Carts of LA, LLC began with a simple mission: provide customers with the highest-quality golf carts, transparent pricing, and an experience built on honesty, education, and exceptional service.
What started as a small, family-owned business has grown into one of Louisiana’s leading golf cart dealerships. Today, Smart Carts proudly operates three premier locations to better serve customers throughout Louisiana—Breaux Bridge, Lafayette, and Baton Rouge—offering one of the region’s largest selections of new, used, and custom golf carts.
We proudly carry many of the industry’s most respected brands, including Denago EV, Denago Powersports, MadJax, Dach, Kandi, Club Car, Yamaha, and E-Z-GO. Whether you’re searching for a neighborhood cruiser, a lifted lithium-powered cart, a commercial utility vehicle, a hunting property workhorse, or powersports equipment, our experienced team is committed to helping you find the perfect fit.
Our success has always been built on long-term relationships rather than one-time sales. That’s why every customer receives straightforward advice, competitive pricing, and support long after the purchase. From financing and accessories to maintenance, repairs, warranty work, and custom builds, we strive to deliver an ownership experience that is second to none.
With factory-trained technicians, a fully stocked parts department, and one of the largest inventories in the state, Smart Carts is equipped to keep customers on the road long after the sale. We continually invest in our facilities, our people, and the brands we represent to ensure every customer receives exceptional value and service.
More than a decade after opening our doors, Smart Carts continues to grow while remaining true to the family values on which the company was founded. Our commitment to quality, integrity, and customer satisfaction has earned the trust of thousands of customers across Louisiana.
Whether you’re purchasing your first golf cart, upgrading to the latest lithium-powered model, customizing your dream ride, or servicing a cart you already own, Smart Carts is here to help every step of the way.
